THE ECONOMICAL SOLUTION TO COMPRESSED AIR POLLUTION

The IDC Compressed Air Filter-Dryer is the Economical Solution to Compressed Air Pollution.  Atmospheric air that your compressor draws in and compresses is polluted with water, dirt, and other foreign particles.  The air becomes further contaminated with varnish, shellac and hydrocarbon sludge formed from the breakdown of the oil used to lubricate the compressor cylinders.

Automated equipment using actuated micro-valves, solenoids and various air metering devices must be supplied with clean, dry air to assure peak performance. Present day traps, dryers, and filters using messy desiccants, inadequate filtering media and expensive refrigeration are limited in their performance and are only a partial answer to the problem.

The IDC is designed and used in many industries including

airtek Textile Plants airtek Silk screening airtek Paint Lines
airtek Metal Fabrication airtek Plastic Molding airtek Laboratories
airtek Auto Assembly airtek Glass Molding airtek Dental Clinics
airtek Abrasive Blasting airtek Tire Manufacturing airtek Retreading Plants
airtek Material Transfer airtek Service Stations airtek Dry Cleaning Plants
airtek Food Procession airtek Chemical Plants airtek Furniture Plants
Installation

Installation

  • IDC should be installed in main air line after final receiver or storage tank
  • Drain Valve-Manual and Automatic
  • IDC Filter-Dryer may be manifold installed for greater capacity systems.

IMPORTANT: The location of any filter-dryer in the air is vitally important. The cooler the entering air, the more efficient the filter dryer operates.
Applications with air temperature of 100 ° F or more require methods of reducing this temperature.
There are three models of IDC Filter-Dryers that incorporate the use of water jackets for this situation.
Please refer to the maximum temperature sections in the standard specification chart to insure proper installation temperature
