SEALNT® rivets are the logical solution to replace traditional blind rivets where a completely sealed and pressure-tight joint is necessary.

The SEALNT® rivets consist of a tubular rivet with a sealed end containing a steel mandrel. Its riveting sequence is similar to that of standard open rivet, but the sealed type has an additional setting, the rivet is stressed beyond its elastic limit.

This ensures that in addition to the normal clenching action, the rivet expands radially in setting. This combined with the sealed end of the rivet, ensures a joint which is both air and water-tight. As its high rate of radial expansion in setting completely fills the hole, it has a high proof-shear strength which also makes it particularly suitable for joints subject to vibratory conditions.

SEALNT® rivets provide maximum clamping action over a full range of material thickness, using the same rivet length, eliminating errors produced by unskilled labor.
